Common Questions

Answers before you reach out

Do you only assist clients in Pretoria?

No. While our office is based in Pretoria East, we assist clients across South Africa through virtual consultations, alongside in-person meetings for those nearby.

What happens during an initial consultation?

You'll explain your matter in your own words, and receive honest, practical guidance on your legal position and the realistic options available to you — in plain language, not legal jargon.

Does contacting the firm create an attorney-client relationship?

No. Submitting an enquiry or having an initial conversation does not, on its own, create an attorney-client relationship. This is only formed once the firm has expressly agreed to act for you.

Can I consult virtually?

Yes. Many clients meet with the firm virtually for convenience, with in-person consultations available at our Menlyn Maine Spaces office for those who prefer to meet face to face.

What should I bring to a consultation?

Any documents relevant to your matter — contracts, correspondence, notices or agreements — along with a short written timeline of events, if you have one. This helps the attorney understand your matter quickly.

Can you guarantee the outcome of my matter?

No attorney can guarantee a particular outcome, and we won't tell you otherwise. What we can guarantee is honest advice, thorough preparation, and a clear understanding of your options at every stage.

Let's talk about your legal matter.

Whether you are an individual, family, entrepreneur or business, the first step is understanding your legal position.
